Georgia Tech’s EcoReps program supports Resident Advisors (RA’s) in promoting, teaching, and exemplifying sustainable practices to on-campus residents. EcoReps is supported by Georgia Tech Auxiliary Services and the Office of Campus Sustainability (OCS).
EcoReps
- Attend bi-weekly trainings on environmental, social, and sustainability issues as they pertain to the Institute and ResLife
- Host a minimum of 3 of event in the Fall and 4 Events in the Spring aimed at teaching sustainable practices to residents
- Promote and support the Energy Competition in the Fall Semester
- Promote and support Move-Out Recycling in the Spring Semester
- Explore topics like communicating sustainability, energy consumption, sustainable purchasing, recycling, water usage, environmental justice, sustainable transit, sustainable eating, and sustainable fashion
