Georgia Tech’s Eco-Reps program supports Resident Advisors in promoting, teaching and exemplifying sustainable practices to on-campus residents. Eco-Reps are empowered to plan events and create targeted campaigns to support the achievement of Institute level sustainability goals in residence halls. Bi-weekly meetings serve to provide both continued education and space for discussion and brainstorming. Further, campus experts from Campus Services, the Office of Solid Waste Management & Recycling, and the Office of Campus Sustainability and community experts are brought in to provide additional support. The Eco-Reps programs has provided an avenue for tangible engagement of Georgia Tech students and measurable results in the sustainability space.
