Georgia Tech’s EcoReps program supports Resident Assistants in promoting, teaching, and exemplifying sustainable practices to on-campus residents. EcoReps are empowered to plan events and create targeted campaigns to support the achievement of Institute level sustainability goals in residence halls. EcoReps will have bi-weekly meetings to create a discussion and brainstorming space with occasional guest speakers from Georgia Tech Campus Services, the Office of Solid Waste Management & Recycling, the Office of Campus Sustainability, and the local Atlanta community. The program has provided an avenue for tangible engagement of Georgia Tech students and measurable results in the sustainability space.
