Climate Action at Georgia Tech
This video concept for the SDG Mobile Film Festival focuses on showcasing impactful climate action initiatives at Georgia Tech. The video will feature a series of visually engaging clips/photographs (taken by me) that highlight initiatives and actions taken by Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff to address climate change. Each segment will provide a brief overview of a different initiative, showcasing its relevance to Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action.”
ECO and Sustainability
The movie highlights the initiatives spearheaded by the ECO team at Georgia Tech, aimed at redirecting waste from the Schools of Architecture and Industrial Design on campus. This waste is collected and processed into usable sizes, which are then donated to STEAM K-12 schools across Atlanta.
Urban Agriculture
This is a documentary on the Urban Agriculture club at Georgia Tech. The video shares what the club does, how they are making an impact, and how their work fits into the SDGs.
An Interview with GT Campus Kitchens
A volunteer for Georgia Tech Campus Kitchens interviews with the president, Augustine Huh. The film is a short documentary of their experiences and interview.
Kendeda Revolving Closet
Fast fashion and the rapid production of inexpensive and trendy clothing has a detrimental environmental impact. The fashion industry produces over 92 million tons of textile waste a year. This film explores the Kendeda Revolving Closet- a Georgia Tech community resource developed in response to textile waste created by “fast fashion,” and students needs for affordable clothing options.
Palestine, Genocide, and Global Responsibility
For decades Palestine has been subject to one of the most dire environmental and humanitarian catastrophes our world has seen. The conflict in Palestine continues to violate Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goal introduced by the United Nations. This film explores these themes as a call for the world to take action.
