Living Learning Campus Opportunities
with the Office of Sustainability
The Office of Sustainability supports the larger Living Campus initiative in collaboration with Infrastructure & Sustainability.
Living Learning Campus opportunities are offered through the Office of Sustainability in operations, research, and education. We prioritize collaborations with measurable outcomes that facilitate student learning and experiential research that positively impact our campus.
Living Learning Campus Pathways
The Office of Sustainability offers Living Learning Campus opportunities through 3 pathways that have varying degrees of involvement from our office.
Pathway 1: Data Requests
We provide sustainability data specific to campus utilities. Available data includes campus level energy consumption, campus level water consumption, 15-minute electrical demand and consumption, and emissions data.
This is only for data requests and does not include the interpretation of data, questions, or meetings with our staff.
Initial response to data requests takes up to 5-10 business days. If requests are not clear, clarifying questions may require additional time to receive the data.
Pathway 2: Project Partnership
This path allows students, faculty, and staff to choose a project that is in alignment with institute sustainability goals. This path allows partners to meet with our staff and participate in specific projects that advance campus sustainability.
Path 2 projects are now open for 2025. To review topics and submit an interest form, click the “See 2025 Projects” button below.
Pathway 3: Living Campus Student Fellowship
A living campus fellowship program is offered each year through the Office of Sustainability. Fellows work within our office on a project that advances sustainability goals on campus.
The Fellowship program is full for 2024. Applications will reopen in Spring 2025 for Fall 2025.
