Climate FRESK is a science-based, interactive workshop that helps participants understand the basics of climate change through a collaborative game. 

The Georgia Tech Office of Sustainability offers FRESK Workshop opportunities throughout the year.  

About Climate FRESK

FAQ

  • What is Climate FRESK? Climate FRESK is an interactive, collaborative card game that help participants understand the causes and effects of climate change. Worldwide, more than 1.5 people have participated in a Climate FRESK session in 157 countries.

  • How long does it take? About 3.5 hours. The session is broken up into an introduction, the game, and discussion/reflection.

  • How many people can participate? Anywhere from 6 – 20 people can participate with one facilitator. 

  • When did Climate FRESK begin at Georgia Tech? The first Climate FRESKs were spearheaded at Georgia Tech by the Office of Sustainability in partnership with France-Atlanta.
